    Eligibility

    Registration Requirement

    01.

    Every Veterinary Surgeon duly registered by the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) shall be eligible to be a member of the Association

    02.

    Members shall be recommended by Individual members, State branches, recognized institutions and veterinary professionals.

    Types of Membership

    NVMA has various membership categories to accommodate different professionals in the veterinary field.

    Ordinary Member

    • Veterinary Surgeons registered by the Veterinary Council of Nigeria
    • Initial registration fee as determined by the National Executive Committee (NEC)
    • Access to all standard member benefits and resources
    • Eligible for committee and leadership roles

    Life Member

    • Conferred upon ordinary members with 30+ years of membership
    • Permanent membership status with special recognition
    • Exclusive mentorship and advisory roles

    Affiliate Member

    • For renowned scientists or contributors to veterinary advancement

    Honorary Member

    • Distinguished service to the profession
